This Privacy Policy governs the processing of data by The Ellis Project LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") concerning the 3li Voice Infrastructure Platform ("3li", "the Application"). This policy is specific to the 3li platform and is intended to satisfy Microsoft Azure Marketplace certification requirements.
1. Scope and Sovereign Architecture
3li is a sovereign AI voice infrastructure platform that deploys exclusively as an Azure Managed Application within the Customer's owned Microsoft Azure Tenant. Because the application runs entirely inside the Customer's secure cloud perimeter, the Customer maintains exclusive ownership, control, and physical custody of all operational data.
This policy applies to business customers who purchase or deploy 3li through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, end users whose voice interactions are processed through a Customer's deployment, and visitors who interact with our demo line (+1-866-673-0770) or web demo interface.
2. Data Processing and Non-Transmission
Zero Core-Data Telemetry
The 3li application processes real-time voice streams, call audio, transcripts, and metadata completely within the Customer's provisioned Azure Container Apps environment. We do not transmit, intercept, view, or store any call content, personal information, or corporate operational data to external or third-party servers.
Licensing Telemetry
The application transmits an encrypted, minimal heartbeat to our license server strictly to verify authorization. This payload is limited to a deployment license key, organization name, installation timestamp, and an automated uptime counter. It contains zero user data, telephone numbers, or conversation metrics.
Support Interactions
Data provided via technical support communications at partnership@ascent-ma.com is used solely to resolve the specified technical ticket and is never shared or sold.
Demo Interactions
When you interact with our public demo interface or call our demo line, we may collect call recordings and transcripts for quality assurance, IP addresses and browser technical data, and interaction logs including session duration. Demo interactions are not subject to in-tenant isolation as they occur on our infrastructure rather than within a Customer's Azure tenant.
3. Processing via Azure Infrastructure Dependencies
All data processing pipelines utilize the Customer's own securely provisioned Azure cloud resources. Data handling within these components is bound entirely by the Customer's existing enterprise agreements with Microsoft:
• Telephony and Audio Streams: Managed via Azure Communication Services (ACS)
• AI Voice Inference: Processed via the Azure AI Voice Live service
• Secrets and Cryptography: Maintained inside Azure Key Vault
• Container Runtime: Executed within Azure Container Apps
4. HIPAA and Healthcare Compliance
3li is architected to safely operate within environments subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Because data never leaves the Customer's Azure tenant, no Protected Health Information (PHI) is exposed to The Ellis Project LLC during standard platform operation.
For deployments actively processing PHI, The Ellis Project LLC executes standard Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with Covered Entities. To initiate BAA execution, contact partnership@ascent-ma.com with subject line "BAA Request [Organization Name]".
5. Financial Services and Regulated Industry Compliance
Customers in debt collection must ensure their use of 3li complies with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and applicable state laws. Customers in banking and financial services are responsible for compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). The Ellis Project LLC does not certify compliance with any specific regulatory framework on behalf of Customers. Each Customer is responsible for their own compliance assessment.
6. Data Security
For data under our direct control, we implement: Azure Managed Identity authentication with no static API keys, Azure Key Vault with purge protection for secrets management, encrypted TLS data transmission, role-based access controls, and locked Azure Managed Application resource groups. For data processed within Customer Azure tenants, security is governed by the Customer's own Azure configuration and policies.
7. Data Retention
Customer account information is retained for the duration of the business relationship and seven years thereafter. Demo interaction data is retained for up to ninety days. Operational telemetry is retained for up to one year. Data processed within Customer Azure tenants is subject to the Customer's own retention policies.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. To exercise rights related to data under our direct control, contact partnership@ascent-ma.com. California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify Customers of material changes at least thirty days before they take effect. Continued use of 3li after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
